Green Tea - Organic

SENCHA is our organic green tea that comes from the Anhui province of China. It is made from young leaves that are thinly rolled to have a long, twisted appearance that unfurl when brewed. This gives a traditional China Green Tea that is bold and full of flavour.

Green teas have many health benefits including high levels of polyphenols, flavanoids and the ‘relaxing’ amnio acid L-theanine.

For anyone who thinks green tea is bitter, we have three recommendations

1 – get good quality green tea (like ours!)

2 – steep it in boiled (approx 70-80°C) not boiling water

3 – only steep for 3-4 minutes and then pour

If you do all of that, you should have a lovely cup of tea and can re-use the leaves for a second cup!
